First time having dim sum and they were delicious. Everything looks small but they actually filled up my stomach quickly. I wish I had more people in my table to share the foods with so I can try more of them. It was very quick to go for lunch. Many dishes looked yummy and interesting. I wonder why I didn’t try them earlier.

This is a great restaurant for Dim Sum. I’ve definitely had better globally, but for Victoria, this is probably the best restaurant for Dim Sum. Tasty food and friendly staff. If you go on a weekend, be sure to arrive early. There are always lineups past noon on a Saturday or Sunday.
Living in Nanaimo there is no legit place for dim sum. Option is pay 200 (two way with vehicle) to the lower mainland or make a day trip (1.5 hr one way) into Victoria. We choose the latter option and Don Mee didn't let us down! We started with a trio of staples (see pictures). Steam pork dumplings was solid, not the best nor worst. Chicken feet a taste and clean. Shrimp scallop dumplings were excellent. We also tried the taro ball, eggplant with shrimp paste, steam rice roll with shrimp, and crispy deep fried shrimp balls (see videos). All were good to excellent. Sometimes after eating at some dim sum places. I feel the urge to take a #2 because the food wasn't fresh or clean. Well here I felt fine afterwards, so that's a good sign lol. Next time I get the dim sum craving. I'll make a day trip to Victoria and come back!
Great food, nice people but online prices are significantly less expensive. We ordered pick up and ended up having to pay about 12 bucks more.. you should probably update your prices..
The restaurant has a large space for dine in and very beautifully decorated but you hardly find people here. Food tastes worst!! We ordered veggies rice, veg spring roll and deep fried oyster! It didn't taste good as there were no spices in it, had to eat forcefully with hot sauce and soya sauce ( taste of the soya sauce was different and worst for the second serve). ZERO rating for service from the staff and it was really hard to communicate with them in English.
