Fun to watch the tugboats guide the Norwegian Bliss into the dock! Disembarked and no worries - all set for tourists to get aboard buses or taxis to head into downtown Victoria for some shopping! Bling Blinky of TEXAS Shout Out: We did not have a lot of time - but made the most of it!

Our ship pulled in at 7:30 pm on a Tuesday. Lots of helpful people available to answer questions and steer yes in the right direction. We took a pedicab(Sanji) into town and a Rickshaw Runner back to the dock. BOTH were very entertaining and quick! Highly recommend both if you find yourself needing a ride to town.

Not much to do or see. It was the only day of wind and heavy rain at times that we choose to stay on ship. Would have been nice to visit the city as it is beautiful. All tours for the buses were full because of the weather. The docking area was very nice from our view.

Really nice cruise terminal. well organized for catching a cab. If you need to get to the airport better take a transport from the cruising company or make sure you are one of the firsts off the ship. We got off with 2 other boats and it took over 2 hours to finally have a cab.

Google is not clear about this exact location. If review is for Cruise Port of Vancouver then the 1 star rating is kind. If for another port I'm sure it is unfair and apologize. TERRIBLE experience arriving at Vancouver port last week. Hundreds of people waiting for taxi. No luggage carts and VERY few- porters. Had to wait 40 minutes to get porter's assistance with luggage for disabled travel companions. Then had to surrender porter before at taxi pick up point because wait was over 30 minutes for disabled taxi - much longer line and wait for regular taxi. I've used the port at Vancouver not fewer than 5 times. Never had an experience like this before. Terrible experience from start to finish for me and my travel companions - terrible. Perhaps it's better on departure but I would plan for everything to take 1-2 hours longer than expected, and be ready to do everything on your own w/o assistance from port or cruise personnel. Best method may be to use ship transfers as then there might be assistance available and at least no wait for taxi. It was as if port authority had no idea how many passengers were arriving that day.

Talking about Ogden Point. Surprisingly better than average. 15 min walk from Parliament with good indications and scenic path.
