Bard & Banker: impressive building, interiors, and nice ambiance. I would definitely recommend a visit for locals and visitors alike. Nicely decorated for the 2020 Holidays. A nice treat! I had the Prawn Pasta (24) - lots of very big, succulent shrimp and pieces of bacon though I thought the sauce had a weird aftertaste. I finished the pasta first as the pasta serving on the small side. Bread not included so I ordered a side of garlic bread (3 small pieces, they didn't charge me) which was very good. The staff were welcoming and professional. COVID protocols in place. There are 'snugs' available for intimate dining and conversation. Yeah, nice experience. I recommend giving the Bard & Banker a try.

This place is very good for any occasion from festivals to simple get together, in my case I went here for Halloween and this place was an amazing Halloween castle. They have outdoor sitting,indoor ground floor sitting and there is a stairs that will lead us to the upper floor sitting which is amazing. You may find a linear wonderful bar too. The serving is good. There is live music all the time to please our ears. The food was very good. It’s a picture perfect place. Washrooms were well maintained. An early reservation is better else you will have to stand in the queue outside. Well I am Not sure about the parking as it’s in the downtown near the waters. So I can say that it’s the best Resto-bar in the downtown Victoria.

Always wonderful atmosphere. The new menu is so 2021. More gluten and vegetarian friendly. The menu is thoughtful and creative and just so damn delicious. Lastly the service is bar none. Such a friendly place to go!

Amazing atmosphere and food. Classy menu, but not extensive. Seafood chowder was some of the best I’ve had. Yam fries were excellent and a very heeping portion. Solid beer selection. Caramel pudding dessert was incredible. Service was kind and attentive. They even remembered it was our anniversary and gave us a great table. Live music went for several hours. Not a bad seat in the place - long bar, lots of bar tables, booths, nooks along the walls, interesting decor, clean bathrooms — highly recommend!

Beautiful oldstyle pub in the downtown Victoria. Highly recommend to try Bard Porter beer. Chicken wings were slightly undercooked ( not crispy ). Beer is 8.25,wings 15.50. Staff was friendly
