Located in a quiet neighborhood, this gallerymuseum is certainly a pleasure to visit. Great place to learn about local artists and their works. Miscellaneous collections of handcrafts. Also many pieces from Asian countries. Good opportunity for local people to get a glimpse of the history of the far East. The space is well organized, with clear visiting route. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Amazing and diverse artwork from all over the world. Perfect for Emily Carr fans !!!
Not every art gallery leaves a positive impression on me but this one did. It may not be one of the biggest art galleries but it contains very valuable and impressive pieces of art. I especially loved the installation called Blue Skies by Megan Dickie. I wish I lived in Victoria to become a member. The place even has a garden with an old Shinto shrine installed!
What a great gallery! Lots of unexpected surprises to discover. The layout was a little weird and I almost missed the room with Emily Carr, Lauren Harris, and Maude Lewis. One of the hosts told me that people missed that too. My favourite part was the Takao Tanabe works - I'd never even heard of his work before! I should also note that AGGV made the experience very safe and friendly during the pandemic.
We were very lucky to go there.
