A friend wanted to buy gift certificates for gifts for my children. The understanding is that they do not provide gift certificates or provide something (perhaps an email) to confirm that there is a gift certificate available to use. I left an email and followed up 3 times before someone responded and asked me to call. I called and left a message and asked them to get back to me. There is only one class available of the online options and not all of our family members can attend as they need to be 6 years old - this gift has been too challenging to use for our family.

Paid for a 4 and 6 year old to participate in a class. At arrival we are told the adults who came to supervise the children, who are not old enough to stay on their own, aren't allowed to remain unless they pay and participate in the class themselves. Ridiculous policy I have never come across at other 4 cats studios. If they think they will get repeat business operating this way, they are very confused.

Had a lot of fun making Halloween mugs! Instructor was great, very clear explanations and there was no rush to finish our mugs. Same with the glazing session, straightforward explanations and nice relaxed atmosphere. Thank you 4Cats Oak Bay!

Went to a mug workshop, the instructor was very nice and explained everything perfectly, but they don't allow enough time for the workshop so we we're all rushing to finish painting. Also when my piece came back it had some sharp spurs from careless handling while firing. If they allowed an extra half hour it would've been so much better, it's not fun to rush.

Not a very easy/ smooth experience. Booked a class and had to reschedule for the next week- ended up being scheduled in for the wrong class by the guy who helped. Made an item that I didn't want- then to book in for part 2 to glaze- their hours are extremely limited and you can only glaze on weekends and that doesnt work with my schedule. Feel stressed to get it done and they allow only 2 weeks to book in for the second class or else they get rid of your piece. Hopefully I can take it home to keep and reschedule down the road when I have time. If not- guess I wasted the money on a piece I didn't want! The people are friendly and nice but it just isn't a very well thought out system and apparently room for lots of error since their classes have such similar names. Strict policy on rescheduling also.
