Mike and his crew are awesome. Extremely friendly group of guys, and an awesome boat with lots of history. My friends and I booked this boat for a small engagement party, and everyone loved it. Definitely recommend! Ask Mike about his hurricane story :)

We enjoyed our time aboard. The crew were professional and knowledgeable. We had opportunity to interact with the captain, stir the ship, and camand the ropes. We brought snacks and drinks but if you want to interact with the ship save the alcoholic drinks for later. Plenty of attention to detail. Thanks gang ️

Went for a 90-minute evening/sunset sail this week. What an incredible experience! The captain and first mate really made us feel welcome and safe, and gave everyone so many opportunities to interact with the ship. It was both educational and fun! I would highly recommend these guys if you're visiting Victoria or are a local (like me!) trying something new.

Going for a sail with Mike of \3-hour Sail\ was a spur of the moment decision that I don't for a moment regret. Signing up at the last moment I decided to phone to confirm and Mike himself answered the phone - a very warm and engaging man that gave me confidence that this would be a great experience. Mike is an enormously experienced sailor with every valuable training and background under his belt. Sensing my enthusiasm, he allowed me to hold the wheel for much of the trip and when he was not attending to the rigging etc and engaging other customers in helping he was giving me the thumbs up from the other end of the boat to indicate I was still on course! We chatted about his plans for retirement and I tried to discourage him, based on my own views about people falling into retirements when they still love what they do. All in all, a fabulous 3 hours in which we got glimpse of the intricacies of sailing a larger sail boat. We also participated in a rescue where some people had sailed out into some white caps with a craft unsuitable for anything beyond a mill pond! Highly recommend this trip: you won't regret it!
