Great walking trails, x country trails, sledding hill, lake for every activity, great campground and splash park. Close to vermilion so access to all conveniences.

The campsites were very spacious and nice, although not a lot of privacy, you can see what others are doing even when trying not to. There is no beach for kids to play in, not sure if it’s because of water quality, but still a small beach with sand would have been so fun for kids. They only have a boat dumping space by the river. They do have kids parks, mini golf and spray park, which are closed due to COVID. But I bet when they’re open, kids would be happy. The trails are nice, the campground is very close to the town so you don’t feel you’re camping in the wild, which I personally prefer. They charge extra to use the dumping station, which I think it’s ridiculous, we’ve never had to pay extra at other parks. I mean for 38 a night, why should you pay extra for dumping? Anyways nice park but nothing out of the ordinary and would not visit again to be honest.

I love this place, I only stayed here a day and a half but it’s nice. It was raining on our only full day until like 2 but then we got out went to the water park. Me and the kids loved it. We did not get to do much but I enjoyed it. If you like animals you’ll love this place, there are gaufres everywhere they are friendly will only come close to you if you feed them. I would definitely come back.

The grounds are exceptional...well kept, spaces are spread apart, excellent walking, hiking and cycling trails. The gate staff was pleasant and helpful. A very nice campground beside the river and quiet during our mid week stay.

Nice camp ground, very well kept, you can see that people are proud working there. Staff is very nice and helpful. Well organized and kept sites. I recommend Vermilion Provincial Park campground to everybody. It is a bit far from major cities, but additional time spend on driving is worth it. Town is close by and you can get whatsoever you need there.
