The doctors and nurses in this hospital are incredible! My boyfriend and I made an emergency stop here while passing by after I started experiencing unbearable abdominal pain. The second I stumbled through the door they put me in a wheelchair and moved me to an office. The doctors were polite and gave me something for the pain almost immediately. The nurses made taking a blood sample very quick and painless. It feels odd to say, but this was the best hospital experience I've ever had; I cannot thank the staff enough.

The lady on the phone was very unprofessional and when I told her I have a few questions she said \I'm not a doctor\. I thought it was very rude since she didn't even want to hear what I had to ask.
Yes it's true, the man that answers the phone is rude, but if you get over yourself, and don't get offended, he is actually quite helpful. The staff were all helpful, and most of them friendly. Treat this place like a 24hr clinic, and you will not be let down, if you treat it like a hospital in a major city centre, you will be disappointed. Our health care system has many flaws, and they are doing the best they can with the resources available.
Always choose this hospital if we can
I am outraged about the treatment my son(Nicolas Vinolo)has recieved at Vermilion hospital,he lives in Vermilion with his girlfriend. He has been in unbearable pain in his foot/leg,he has screws from a broken ankle a few yrs ago, that need to be removed. To make a long story shorter,he finally found a doctor who, helped him,by making his case a priority in ordering an ambulance that would take him to the Edmonton hospital for surgery. However a certain female doctor in Vermilion hospital(who would not check his groin because of her religion) cancelled it and told him to wait for a travelling doctor to see him, which would happen in two weeks. In the meantime,he is sitting at home in constant pain. He will now on tuesday dec 12 try to take a Greyhound and travel to Calgary for help on his own. I am here in Ontario unable to do anything for him and can only hope he will get the surgery he needs in Calgary, before gangrene sets in and he will lose his foot. I wanted to find the head of the Vermilion Hospital and send this review to him/her,but am unable to find the info. Mrs Anita Vinolo Oakville Ontario
