Booked another trip for AML this year. It is hard to beat the the accommodations or the fishing. The entire staff from owners to dock boys has the right hospitable attitude to make your trip memorable. The guides are second to none; willing to teach novices and experienced fishermen how to catch more and bigger fish. If you are struggling and ask for advice, you get it. Need a map marked, just ask. Super fishery for smallmouth, lake trout, walleye, pike, and world class musky. Also a great place for family outing; every youngster leaves with a memory of a lifetime. Hard to believe how many smiles you see on your pictures when you get back home.

Another excellent fishing trip at Andy Myers Lodge. Fishing was excellent and the guides were top of the class. To me it is the little things that can make a good vacation an excellent vacation, and when something unexpected goes wrong how it is handled can make or break a trip. First the little things 1. The guides take extra time to prepare the walleye during shore lunch so every bite taste great. 2. The dock help always greets you when you come in from fishing, and it is with a smile and they make sure to assist you with hauling gear back to your cabin if needed with out being asked. 3. All staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and that includes their brown Lab 4. Cabin is spotless and I mean spotless. Which to me is a major task with fishermen coming and going as well as being remote. 5. Food on time and tasted great. At the beginning of our stay we experienced a plumbing issue which was handled by owner and his staff ASAP. This issue could have really affected our stay but as I commented earlier in this review it is how the unexpected problems get handled that can make the difference in a good trip or an excellent trip Thank you again for making our summer fishing vacation GREAT The Perschbacher Family Scott, Anne, Colin and Ashley

Another perfect trip!!!!!! I just wanted to say thank you to Julian and Nikki, for making our stay another great one. The fishing was some of the greatest that we have ever had. The new main lodge is absolutely stunning, with unbelievable views!!!!!! Thanks to the new cook Wendy for sending me home 5 pounds heavier, the breakfasts and dinners she makes are out of this world. Finally to the guides and dock hands, they are the best on the lake, by far!!!!!! The sheer amount of fish that they put you on is staggering, your arms will hurt by the end of the day. Once again thanks for the AMAZING trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not waste your money. For the amount spent here you can go to an all inclusive 5 star resort in Cabo, while catching Marlin, Sailfish, and Yellowfin Tuna. For the inshore enthusiast there is Rooster fishing, which is probably the most exciting inshore fishing in the world.

Andy Myers Lodge is the best fishing camp out there. It was our second year there and we are looking forward to going there for years to come. It’s such an amazing experience all around. Absolutely everyone that works there genuinely wants you to have the best fishing trip of your life. And they all treat you like family. It is an amazing lake to fish no matter what species you are after. Their guides are top notch and true educators. Even if you are not going out with a guide they are more then willing to offer advise, answer questions, and point out spots on maps for you to fish. If you do go out with a guide (highly recommend) they really know how to put you on fish. You can’t help but learn something from their years of experience and incredible knowledge. They are by far the best in the business. The food is outstanding and there’s plenty of it. The main lodge is brand new and absolutely beautiful. The cabins are clean and comfortable. The girls in the dining room are awesome and the boys at the docks work hard and are there for anything that you need. We leave every year with so much more than just fish in the freezer. We leave with more knowledge of the sport that we love, with memories that will last a lifetime, and with great friendships.

Been coming for 15 years. In my many years of experience in fishing the Canadian Shield, nothing comes close. Top notch guides, equipment, support staff and, of course, ownership. This is the place where many pros vacation and many shows are filmed . Fishing Shangrila.... I'll be here til I cant cast no more

Been going to AML for 20 years. They have always worked hard to make the customer happy. Guides are really good and I still fish with guys I did on my first trip. If you're looking for the total package, I highly recommend AML.
