Very unprofessional staff and employees work here, and they condone conduct that no other workplace i know of condones. They allow employees to fraternize in house. They have one employee named Rebecca who knows my husband has a family and does not seem to care and continues to carry out extracurricular activities with him, putting my four children in the path of a possible messing divorce. They are unable to enforce professionalism so I wouldn't trust this company with my investment or the future of my company they are bound to go out of business very soon.

I’ve been employed by this company since September 24 2018, working for Gatsteel which is owned by Venture Steel. I wanna start by saying the Management team operated By MR. Toney Sousa at Gatsteel is very wayward in regards to the way they treat their employees. I find Toney is very nieve and very quick to believe or judge someone with out knowing the details when it comes to investigating situations in his own workplace. Their was incident that happened where I was asked to load a truck operating a crane, I was given instructions By the daytime foreman (Roman) who is absolutely amazing may I add. Roman gave me instructions to dig out the last 4 skids of steel. So I proceeded to do so, next thing you know I had a very impatient driver hovering over my shoulder, I told him not to hover over me and that the steel ain’t going to move any faster with you hovering over my shoulder. Next thing you know the afternoon supervisor Joe decides to pull me off the crane degrading me and making me feel incompetent in my job duties in front of my co-workers we all know as co-workers Joe has anger problems and doesn’t work well under pressure. I later walked away found something to keep myself busy until situations calmed down. I later spoke to Joe calmly and let him know that my feelings were hurt to have blow up on me... I was later fired the following week, with a made up excuse, “were making cutbacks” with Joe present in the office !!!
Venture Steel is a growing company, as such the climate and environment is not perfect but they are working on it. The people here are the biggest asset to the company as they are warm, resilient, and hard working.
Always pleasant and professional to deal with, great management and staff!
