Beautiful botanical garden with great design and lots of plant species. The only downside is that we don’t get to see a much flowers bloom during winter time. The maze is very fun!

Beautiful Gardens on any day, located in the heart of Vancouver, but just slightly outside the downtown city core. They have a variety of interesting programs, and a lovely restaurant which I have enjoyed. Plan a lovely time to enjoy this beautiful gardens. 5 Stars. Winter review. A quiet, relaxing place, great for clearing your mind. The two ponds are nice and the maze was fun. The flowers are not out during this time of year but are still worth the visit. I think 1 hour was enough time to see the whole grounds.

Paradise!A 55 acre oasis in the heart of Vancouver with over 7,500 plant species and varieties from around the world! This will be your safe haven. Must try their maze here and food! As I’ve remembered entrance fee is 8 just check their website from to time or call them.

VanDusen is a well maintained garden extravaganza with incredible variety of plants from all over the world. The hedge maze is dizzying and fun for children and adults alike. The Shaughnessy Restuarant beside is a must stop for their Clam Chowder. I highly recommend going any time of the year but spring/fall is when flowers and foliage are most visually striking. Expect to walk quite a bit as this place is huge!
