Easily the best makerspace in Vancouver. Not too expensive and not so cheap that every crazy can join. Amazing selection of tools with reasonable rules.

VCL, Vancouver Community Laboratory, was kicked out of their affordable art workshop/studio and educational space by the Great Northern Way Land Trust... supposedly GNW has a mandate to foster education and the arts... as it turns out they have a mandate to refuse to negotiate a new lease and kick out a vibrant artist collective, only to replace them with a commercial art gallery. We still have not found a new space since we got the boot in August 2012.
