I was referred to Dr. Thong but asked my service provider to cancel my referral based on the overwhelmingly negative reviews. My negative experience is with his receptionist. I found her to be sneaky, fake and unprofessional. Knowing that I had requested to cancel my referral, she called me to book an appointment anyway. She started off very nicely, with the normal pleasantries but without identifying herself or which clinic she was calling from. When I asked her who the Dr. was, she told me it was Dr. Thong. Thinking that there had been a confusion with my request to cancel this referral, I told her I had decided not to move forward with him. To my surprise, she launched into a sarcastic rant on how \unfortunate\ it was that I would base my decision on reviews, etc. If she already knew I had cancelled the referral (which she clearly did as I did not mention to her the reasons for my cancellation), why would she waste my time calling me to book an appointment with the Dr. anyway? Or was she just looking to vent? I had never cancelled a referral before but I'm so glad that I did in this case. Reading over the reviews, patients are complaining because they don't feel heard or respected and that's all any of us are asking for. If someone exercises their right NOT to move forward with their referral, RESPECT THAT! Instead of judging people for the decisions they make or try to trick them into booking an appointment with you, why not take the abundant feedback you're getting to make improvements in your own practice and behavior? For me, her behavior goes beyond personality clashes and raises questions about her work ethic and personal integrity. If you're referred to this practice and you don't feel comfortable, listen to your gut. It's your right to seek better care elsewhere.

I will leave no star if I can and I seriously recommend Google reviews to allow it. To be plain this is the worst human being we have interacted with. He doesn't have basic communication skills and doesn't realize he is a doctor to serve. The entire call felt like he was some Lord of an estate and we were servants with no voice. Never ever will reach this clinic again. Fyi he didn't provide any proper medical consultation.
The worst Doctor I have ever knew of. He is very rude, very inconsiderate. Please never go here, never talk to him even. Always interrupting you, never leave you complete your sentence and never respect you. On the professional side, I have a sinuses problem which I have been struggling with since more than seven years. I did a surgical operation for a part of it and other parts remain. My case has been confirmed by more than six doctors, CT scans, hospital reports and one social security association. I visited him to treat it, he said you do not have sinuses problem, I said thank you and went to see any other respectful doctor.
Most horrible experience ever. This is the first time I have ever posted a Doctor's review publicly as my experience was so bad that I had to share it. He is presumptuous, rude, a poor listener and is not even willing to hear you out. When I tried to explain to him that I had two differing opinions, one from my GP and one from a hearing clinic that did my testing, and that I needed his help to reconcile these, he kept interrupting and would not allow me to tell him about the two opinions. He then gave me a sermon on how I had too many opinions and that was my problem. He constantly shut me down. What an embarrassment to the medical community. Please stay away. With most ENT's, it takes months and in some cases, years to get an appointment. With him, it took a week. Now I know why.
First time I decided to write about anything / anyone publically. Dr. Thong was very rude and showed condescending tone from start to end! This is a doctor that needs coaching on how to talk to patients. Tone & attitude kills his credibility! Onto get 2nd opinion from other ENT!
