This store does not require masks, contrary to current provincial orders from November 18, 2020. When a masked shopper complained about an unmasked shopper, the owner did not require the unmasked shopper to put on a mask, and specifically she pulled her own mask down from over her nose. Very disrespectful of public health orders, the health of our community and those with compromised health, and our healthcare workers.

Love the idea of trading in clothing..this place has a lot of unique items you won't find at thrift stores, plus everything is great quality! They also donate locally anything that they cannot sell which is great that they give back to the communities here in Vancouver. Sweet place, a leader in whats to come of fashion

I love The Young & The Restless. The first time I came here was when my Mum visited from England (we would always thrift together when I was living at home so to find an \out of the box\ store like this was so exciting!). We met both the workers during our visit and apparently had a completely different experience to the most recent review. We felt totally welcomed, warm, comfortable and taken care of - we ended up spending over an hour in the store. My Mum actually suffers from severe social anxiety, and even she settled into a conversation with the staff and even some other customers! Both workers in the store were SO lovely, chatty, helpful and above all honest. I'm now a regular client of this store and love spending time here. The prices, again, I have had a totally different experience to the last review. I thrift all of my workout clothes and shoes from here and at a fraction of the cost of regular stores. I've got numerous vintage dresses, Lululemon workout gear, Vans, Converse & accessories all for less than 20. Would absolutely recommend that you visit if you're looking for a more traditional thrift store with great clothing, staff, prices and conversation. Thanks for everything!

Generally a better curated collection than regular thrift stores, and they have some great pieces depending on what stuff you’re looking for. For example they have lots of heels but few flats. And not a lot of variety in terms of sizes. The lady who runs the store is really nice though, and she also sells crystals , if you’re into that kinda stuff!

Great non profit consignment store that aims to reduce textile waste. It's tidy, well organized and prices are reasonable/clearly marked. The exchange aspect is great because you're able to get value immediately, without waiting for your items to sell. You could in theory get more selling it online yourself but that takes time and effort to coordinate meetings with potential buyers. This is a pretty guaranteed sale. They reuse whatever they can and the staff are so sweet and helpful. Students get 50% off so I was able to exchange a few things I was planning to donate anyway for a BCBG dress (with pockets!!) that I'll actually use. Wonderful place to buy/rent a prom dress too.
