Stepped in for a drink and a snack a few days ago, and really enjoyed the service provided by the female, senior (as in experience) bartender. I ordered the Cascade cocktail, and after waiting awhile, the order was taken over by the lady bartender in question, and she crafted the drink well - delicious! Cocktails are a bit of a sensitive point for me as a bartender, cook, and hospitality professional in general, but I'd put my faith in The Cascade Room for a nice cocktail if that one was any indication! Will be back. Oh and the soy and chili wings were awesome.

Moved to Main Street recently and absolutely LOVE Cascade Room. Their Sunday Roast is insane, super friendly staff (we love Kayla!), Main Street beers on tap and truly the best happy hour!
They have fancy drinks here. Not too fancy your date will be broke but fancy enough they'll know you don't pound back Kokanee like a frat dude. Also there is not a dingy beer smell like a frat house.
The food is fantastic here, they have special events for food and liquor tastings that are some of the most humble and best value for money in the city. The bartenders are chatty and knowledgeable and can do just about anything with bourbon or gin and they have a decent rotation of craft beer offerings. I really enjoy visiting this bar whenever I get a chance.
A new favourite for my partner and I. Good for late-night catch ups after busy work days. The music is great, the space is intimate and food has been delicious so far. Our servers are always very sweet and have made excellent menu suggestions. We always enjoy sitting inside but they have roadside seating as well.
