Pomegranate Midwives are amazing. They make sure that you know your options and the pros and cons of everything: homebirth, hospital birth, water birth, pain management options, genetic testing, new born procedures, etc. They made me feel supported in my choices, and didn't feel pressure to choose a specific way. My pregnancy ended up needing to have a transfer of care to an obgyn to be induced, but pomegranate was still there with me every step. They came to the hospital, helped explain what was happening, continued to make sure that i understood my options, and helped me give birth. Care was then transferred back and i was able to do all my postnatal with them. They were very understanding with this new mom, and helped reassure me. I cannot recommend them enough and look forward to going back for my next pregnancy. (During Covid-19 times we would have a phone call to answer any questions then a follow up in person appointment for BP checks and checking the babies heartbeat)

We were in the very good hands of the red team. I felt supported and heard by everyone on the team. They were kind and empathetic and able to answer all of my questions. For the birth of our baby girl Emma was on call and she was amazing. She helped me feel empowered and strong. I now have mad love for midwives and what they have to know and do.

When I first learnt I was pregnant with my daughter back in 2014, I checked out a few Midwife Clinics in the neighborhood. As soon as I walked into Pomegranate, I knew that this would be the place I would go during my pregnancy. I was placed in the Brown team and couldn't be happier with the ladies that helped me with all my scheduling and answering all my questions about becoming a 1st time mom. They are extremely hands on and went above and beyond even after my birth. After saying goodbye, I knew one day I would see them all again! Just this October, I had an amazing experience and gave birth to my son at home in his own nursery. It was a surreal moment for me as I was born at home as well and I wanted to keep within the tradition for at least one of my kids. After going into labor, it was as if the stars had all aligned. I was blessed because Leah was on shift that night and she was able to deliver my son just like she did with my daughter 5 years ago. I couldn't of asked for a better outcome. I would definitely recommend not only the Brown Team, but the entire staff at Pomegranate. They have been truly incredible. They are definitely a family and make you feel part of it. Thank you so much to all of them! I couldn't have done it without their love and support!

This place caters to the upper class. Don’t bother calling them for help if you’ve got a job. They refused me because I can’t afford to take time off work and ‘couldn’t guarantee’ that all of my appointments are made after 430. I’m sorry for wanting to eat, no need to make me feel ashamed of that. It’s hard enough finding anyone in this city to deliver a baby without your attitude. They should take ‘community’ out of their name.
