I was excited to see all the great reviews for On The Mic Training, and figured the Weekend Foundations course would be a good investment. Unfortunately, although the teachers definitely know their stuff, the amount of time aloted to each student was not given equally. We all paid the same 550 for the course, and yet some students were given twice as much time on the mic / being taught than others. I called one of the owners to give him my feedback, was told I would hear back from him in a few days to see if there was anything they could do to make me feel the course was a good investment. That was almost two weeks ago, and have never heard back. Leaving negative reviews is not enjoyable, but seeing how I went to On The Mic because of all the positive reviews I figure it best to let people know they offer high potential for disappointment. Edit - in the company's response, they have said they have called and emailed me. This was done AFTER I left this review. Would have been more professional to admit they failed to communicate, instead of trying to negate my review. Not cool.

From my first class through demo production, OTM has been exceptional the whole way through. Their instructors are top notch industry professionals that truly do prepare you for the voiceover world.
So much gratitude for my instructor and experience with the Animation 1 course online. Wonderful! I can't say enough.
I participated in the 2 hours into session where everyone who attended got to experience first hand at shot at a 30 second commercial or an animation script. It was so much fun! A great little taste at what is to come should you decide to take any of their classes. I would definitely recommend the intro session if you are interested in exploring a career in voice acting.
I've taken Commercial levels 1 and 2. Truly amazing teachers that think of each individual students journey and career. If you're looking for Voice Over training in Vancouver, this is the place to be.
