Visited the community space Next Door to Slice of Life for Skate Daze. It’s a large space with concrete floor, 2 small (16” high) Fresh Park quarters and 2 medium (4’ high) Fresh Park quarters. Skate Daze are 2 hour blocks booked in advanced online for skateboarding or rollerskating. The Skate Daze provides a dry and sheltered space to skate during the rainy winter months in Vancouver. The Covid protocols limit each Skate Daze session to household bubble to align with the current provincial health order. The space is cleaned in between each session by the Slice of Life team. Very kind, welcoming and safe space for all humans learning to skate.
