Small-ish but not as busy outdoor pool with good covid 19 precautions. Very attentive life guard. Good concession. Perfect for families to spend a sunny afternoon.

Please keep New Brighton pool open in the fall 2020! I have been going 2-4 times per week for lane swimming. It is a wonderful outlet for me during COVID. I feel safe there. It is fantastic to be able to get some exercise in the water.

What a wonderful setting with large wading area and deeper section plus laps section. Heated and beautiful sweeping mountain, inlet, park & wheat pool views! Most reasonable price of outdoor pools!
Great pool for young kids with a large shallow area. With COVID-19, you can book a timeslot online one day ahead starting at 9:30. You get 90 minutes in the pool and then staff spend 30 minutes cleaning before the next group of swimmers arrive. There are pods (painted squares 2 meters wide) on the pool deck to ensure social distancing. The change rooms, washrooms, and concession stand are all open again. When your 90 minutes are up you can always check out the park, playground, and beach if you want to make a day of it. Vehicle parking is very limited. I recommend biking to the pool. Wall Street is a nice calm bike route with great views of the mountains and Burrard Inlet. There are bike racks right next to the pool entrance.
