Thankfully I was recommended Andrew Beesley and Monro & Crawford as an Estate Law Firm to help deal with the execution of an Estate, even though I live out of Province. Being an Executor of an Estate is a multi-faceted job and is challenging enough, then dealing with COVID at the same time is even more stressful. Once his team was on the job, all my worries were taken away and everything was executed remotely and professionally. Thank you sometimes is not enough. Andrew and his firm have my highest regards and trust, therefore I would recommend him to anyone needing help in any Estate matter in British Columbia without hesitation.

I required legal counsel to deal with an estate in which I was named as the executor. The Will was left in circumstances that clearly presented serious challenges to its being accepted as valid. I had no experience with law firms in this area and I contacted three different firms via e mail. One was very slow to respond, one was slow. Munro and Crawford were very quick to respond. It was clear they were wishing to offer their services and had a quick understanding of my circumstances. The other firms, when they responded showed little enthusiasm/caring and one presented an air of their doing me a favor. I dealt with Ms. Tagliafero and received an overall assessment of what was involved, what was likely ahead and what the firm could offer. I secured their services. Communication was always prompt and responsive, not always easy in Covid times. Overall, I would identify their fair interpretation of the circumstances, their reasonable approaches to them and the delivery of estate management services as the most satisfying aspects of my experience. I was extremely satisfied and will recommend them to those I meet who require such assistance.
If you are wondering whether to go to a notary or law firm for your real estate transactions, choose the law professional. This was my first time using a law firm and I have used many notaries in the past - the difference in the quality of service was very apparent. Andrew Beesley was exceptionally competent, knowledgeable, professional, timely, and was an excellent communicator. He went above and beyond in advocating for me and simplifying a transaction that could have been quite complicated.
