Called to try arrange for coffee and breakfast catered for a meeting, as we pride ourselves on supporting local small businesses. Owner was extremely rude and could not even have a conversation. Extremely rude, I was told to find his email online before I even had the chance to ask for his business. After my experience over the phone here it is clear that the owner only cares about the bottom line. Honestly wouldn't send my worst enemy here. Don't be fooled by hardworking honest employees, who are likely much better people than the owner could ever be. Terrible establishment, bad business all around.

The beans at Moving Coffee are selected and roasted with care. One can actually appreciate the nuances in aroma and flavor of coffee here, as they are not masked by over-roasting. They have had many different beans, and they have all been enjoyable. This is the only place I can drink coffee black. (Note: they don't offer sugar or milk for their brewed coffee. But, frankly, they're not needed.) My go-to order is the 4oz macchiato; the grass-fed milk with their espresso is delicious. The iced latte is served with a frozen coffee ball acting as ice; your cold drink won't get diluted as it melts. Morning Whisky (their cold brew) is another option, as is a refreshing Cascara Soda. This review is informed by my numerous visits (weekly, more or less) over the course of about a year. I don't live nor work in the area and hence, can only come on the weekend. It's not unusual for me to come both Sat & Sun. (I am actually here right now as I write this.) This is also the place I take anybody who is interested in, or want to learn about, or is already into, coffee. Be sure to talk to Edmund if you wish to know more about your drink. The excellent quality at Moving Coffee is unwavering and consistent.

Need To Know: when people ask me where they absolutely must go to have some of the best coffee in Vancouver, Moving Coffee is at the top of my list. Basics: Knowledgeable, very friendly staff who are always happy to recommend different coffee tasting experiences using their own sourced and roasted coffee beans. Attention to detail: Taking care to provide consistent foundational roasts such as the Phantom and Opera espressos, they also branch out into other adventurous, delicious and interesting coffees giving the customer an opportunity to explore very unique and international flavours. From region to farm to process to roasting there is an interesting and important story behind every coffee. The Goods: The two part \split\ is a personal favourite; (1) shot of espresso and (1) 4oz milk based coffee made with the same espresso. A fantastic way to discover the characteristics of all of Moving Coffee's roasts over a couple visits (or one long caffeine fueled day). As a bonus, they share their space with Fife Bakery so there are always super tasty snacks available. Note - Moving Coffee added more seating toward the back of the cafe providing more space for enjoying your pourover, latté, split or \Morning Whisky\!

Fantastic specialty coffee. A cozy little place with only a handful of seats, but great coffee. Do yourself a favor and cough up the premium for one of their special beans, it's well worth it. The pastries look very good, too, but I was too focused on the coffee.

Shared space with Fife Bakery. Lovely pop up pastry and sweet delight cherry red Ethiopia! Favorite!
