Good Fried Chicken. Not bad overall pinoy taste. This place has a potential to be a 4 star or more if they improve on their service. The times we’ve been here we always have to wait 30 minutes or more for food. We always seem to remind them if items were missing. Otherwise staff are friendly. 15% automatic tipping is a bit disappointing. Just don’t feel like they truly deserve it until they improve service.

Finally had the chance to try Max’s. First message after the standard greetings when you walk in the door. “There will be a standard 15% gratuity added to your bill”. Which is fine. We normally tip 15% or more. Ordered Lechon Kawali Sisig (Sizzling Diced Pork), Sinigang (Tamarind Soup) Baka (Beef) and a large Garlic Rice. We ordered the large Garlic Rice for the two of us and it was perfect. Even had some left over to take home. The small serving of Garlic Rice is only good for 1 person. So I would recommend the large if you’re going to feed 2-3 people. Lechon Kawali Sisig was very tasty. The pork was fried to the crispy texture that it should be. Had a very nice crunch to it. I didn’t care too much for the Sinigang Baka. I found it a bit too sour tasting. It was my first time ordering. Didn’t know what to expect. Would not order again. All the safety protocol were in place. You need to fill out a CoVid contact tracing form before entering. Scan QR code for the menu. Flip a red and green dot on the table for service. Staff was friendly and food arrived fast.

Never Ever gonna eat here again!!! They had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I went there for the first time with my friend and they told us to fill the form prior to enter the store which is acceptable, but they created an issue about not writing my last name. As I officially don’t have my last name in any of my documents then why would i write my last name. The person at the front named KRISTOFE came to our table and started arguing about the last name. Like how can a person write the surname if he or she don’t use it. Rather than being polite Kristofe told us to leave if we were not comfortable. I think this is not the right way to talk with guests or either that person doesn’t like doing his job properly. Also, we ordered vegetable chopsuey which was not that good in taste but we can clearly see unwashed vegetables especially cauliflower. There were black marks on the cauliflower which were easily visible with the naked eye. When we went back home me and my friend we both fell sick due to their unhygienic behaviour. I highly recommend to have a last name before enter this restaurant.....

Worst experience Before Max’s restaurant was awesome due to service and food quality. But Now it’s one of the worst customer service i ever experience. They doesn’t know how to treat customers upon entering and once food arrive they don’t even ask how was the first bite of food. Their food was garbage, we ordered chopsuey and it was tasteless and you will see a black marks on vegetables and it stated as an old. Chicken inasal was okay but it’s old too. I just suggest to avoid these kind of restaurant Expensive plus we are not getting what we pay.

I ordered Lechon Kawali from this restaurant through DoorDash. I was too excited as I was really craving for this and I don’t have time to cook. When I got my order, I was too disappointed of getting 8 small pieces of meat! I don’t think this is worth 16.99 (excluding tax)! Compare it with the Crispy Pata below which is 18.99! The food tastes ok but it will be my first and last time to order from them.
