I was looking for a 20 year old part for a filter. No one in Canada had them but I called these guys and they looked around and found one for me. They definitely are not going to hold a long conversation with you but my experience was really good. PS I only looked at the discus and they were looking good, clean tank, etc. Maybe not the best for customer service but they do seem to know what they're doing.

Really good place to go for shrimp. I got some really impressive blue caridina shrimp. They also have n impressive selection of high quality gold fish an koi. Aquariums are well run.
HORRIBLE customer service. The most unfriendly store experience. The guy tending to the shop (and I hope he is not the owner) is amazingly rude. Any questions are strictly a NO answer. Prices just numbers. No desire to help except if you are touching something then he comes running to basically have you not touch anything. Which is a shame because I came to them because I purchased fish at Aquariums West and I thought THEY had an attitude. After this I’m running back to them. And AW is more expensive regarding supplies but worth the trip and money for a better customer experience. Fish at Main Aquarium seem healthy enough but are ridiculously over priced, low quality specimens. I.E. a 1” mediocre red cap gold fish is 25 vs a 2.5” fancy black oranda for 30 at Aquariums West. If you decide to still go to Main Aquarium, consider yourself warned. Pick your poison: better priced supplies, overpriced fish with horrible CS or find somewhere else.
Helpful service. Reasonable prices. Good staff. Quick purchase was easy. Good social distancing. Helpful for me being new to buying fish tanks and rocks. All fish were happy in store and it was super clean including the tanks. :)
Been coming here for years. The selection is great and the owner is knowledgeable and quite friendly. Buy your aqua hobby stuff here and support local.
