The items were ok but please be careful they charged my debit card twice and even though I sent them the documents from my bank they refuse to pay me back. Their system (computer) crashed down when I paid with my debit card and they made me paid again. They apparently can’t see the details now so they kept all of my money. An investigation is being done but the store manager Courtney Mcavena is not quite professional and apparently can’t see her clients purchase...
I have now had 2 horrendous experiences at this location- with the manager specifically. I made a purchase of 3 items on Sunday . On Wednesday I attended the location to return 2 of these items. When I got there, I realized I had the debit receipt but not the itemized receipt. I asked the manager ( who was at the till at the time) if they could look up the order as they have the Card number, date, time, and amount. She informed me that they “have no record of purchases unless you are a member”. I was quite shocked, as most retail stores have a computer system that tracks their sales (of note- you would require some system that tracks this if you are filing any type of corporate tax). When I asked her to confirm that she has no record of purchases unless you are a member, she stated (quote) “well you know we are a big company”. I’m not upset that she couldn’t process the return without an itemized receipt (although many companies can do this if paid with a card), rather, her flippant statement that her company is too big to be able to look up a receipt was completely inappropriate. I returned this afternoon with the correct receipt. The same manager was working and started processing my return. At this point, she accused me of bringing the wrong receipt as the receipt said 30%off, while the tags had the regular price. I repeated 5 times that her store had a store wide sale on the date of the receipt (6 days ago). Each time she said I was wrong. Finally, one of her staff stepped in and processed the refund. I could understand if this was a seasonal employee that was new- but this is the manager of the store.
I had a terrible experience at this store. I went downstairs to look at bathing suits and a rat ran by my feet. I screamed no one paid attention , I was glared at by the lady running the store, I said there is a rat downstairs and she told me they are everywhere inside outside. I asked for help and a young girl stopped talking to the other employees and came to help me with what I could not reach. Feeling uncomfortable with the woman running the store I figured I would make light of the situation as she cleaned the dressing room. I said covid is a lot of work, she said it was just work and went on to scream at me. I was told that she was short staffed and people with my attitude were not welcome in this store. This woman should never deal with the public and the store should look at who they hire!
Good selection with sale section downstairs. Very friendly staff!
