Bought sofa here a year ago based on the floor model I saw and liked. Delivered sofa was similar, but not like the one I purchased. It was cheaply made and then definitely not worth the money I paid. Avoid this place or you take a chance of getting scammed as you might not get what you bought in the store. Their main selling point is better deal and cheaper price than their other competitors around Vancouver. The reality is if you get scammed you just get overpriced cheaply made sofa.

I'm new to Vancouver and was searching for a reasonably priced couch that wasn't from Ikea or Structube. Walking by, I stumbled upon Home Effects and I'm so happy with the condo sized sectional I went home with! Canadian made quality furniture and the guy threw in 2 sofa pillows. I highly recommend!
I had the best experience here. I am not sure you can find another place in Vancouver that offers this level of quality and value. I had a custom sectional made in a gorgeous fabric with down filling and I am in love! It is super good looking and super comfortable. The owners are such good people, very professional and kind. Truly have mastered the art of getting you the help you need without pushing anything on you. Really also makes me happy to know that by shopping here I am supporting a lovely family run business and not a giant box operation. My sofa was made here in Canada too. Didn't think it was possible to get all of this for these price points but it exists with Home Effects! I didn't feel that I had to make any compromises for getting the sofa I want at a price I can afford to have it be made locally made which is sometimes the case but not here. Look no further!

EXCELLENT !! Very accommodating, and helpful. They work with you to get what you want, THEY DO NOT PUSH ANYTHING ON YOU . I like that. Add to that the huge selection and the great prices. My 'go to' place!
