Took my Grade 9 English students for a field trip. The collection of artifacts and replicas of objects, both sacred and mundane, tells a story of a culture interrupted. Our workshop host Kieran connected with my students with questions and surprising facts about the Holocaust. Anna and Jonathan communicated well to organize the trip. Looking forward to the next visit!

It's small but overall a positive experience learning about the negatives of history.
Seeing "loved it" regarding a Holocaust Center seems strange, however if I change my appreciation from 5 to 4 stars, it'll say "Liked it" and that doesn't do this small but excellent educational center enough credit. So, Love it will have to do. We first visited the center to see the exhibition "ENEMY ALIENS": THE INTERNMENT OF JEWISH REFUGEES IN CANADA, 1940-1943. The curation of this exhibit was excellent, and coming from the Netherlands (and Texas) the exhibit taught us things we didn't know yet about that era.The present exhibit on NAZI PERSECUTION OF HOMOSEXUALS 1933-1945 may very well justify another trip across the border.
