Granville Island is a great place to visit. Bring the friends bring the kids bring the family. The waterpark is great when it's open. On a nice sunny day there's a great park for the kids and running water. The community center is close by with toilets. You'll see plenty of Wildlife with raccoons Ducks, geese and skunks and the occasional coyote. There is also food and a market close by. Remember that Granville Island for the most part shuts down at 7 pm. There are a few private restaurants that stay open late.

Fun park with lots of space. Plenty of shade but lots of people. Getting in after 2 is best from my experience. And they have turtles
