I can't say enough what a fantastic experience I had from start to finish. I was treated with kindness and respect during which was a difficult situation to maneuver on my own. I couldn't have made this fresh start without them. The trustees and associates and everyone involved made the experience as seamless and painless as possible. I highly recommend this business if you are struggling financially and need some guidance. I am over the moon pleased with Grant Thornton Ltd. Angelique

I recently had to visit for one of the hardest things in my life - committing to bankruptcy. I'm quite young compared to most people you'd think would be going through this process, and expected to be looked down on, especially with the fact that this was my fault in the first place. Instead, I was treated with kindness, compassion, and a professionalism that completely removed the stress from the process. Even with a few hiccups, like unexpected surplus funds, I was always able to get a response within a business day or two that solved the issue with minimal back and forth. Working with Grant Thornton was an excellent choice!

I wound up paying Abakhan 19500 for a debt proposal of roughly 22500 after being told my creditors accepted .54 on the dollar. I was told last summer I had 1800 left to pay and then when I went to make my last payment, I was told I still owed another 8000. When I went in to make my last payment (again), they were off by another 2500. I successfully was able to dispute that total. I have asked repeatedly for a itemized written statement of what the 19500 went towards and was given the run-around. They would only give me the original contract, nothing like a fee breakdown for that 19500. I did manage to find out I paid 180 for 2 'mandatory' debt counselling sessions which I didn't know I was being charged for. They were a joke. You could watch 1 show of Till Debt Do Us Part and learn more. I also found out through another financial advisor I could have taken equity out of my house to pay down my debt but that wasn't presented as an option instead, according to A&A, the best thing for me was to sell my house and pay off my proposal. Complete money grab. Do your homework, avoid these guys.

Mike is wonderful. He made accomodations to meet me at my home due to my disability. The whole process went smoothly and I thank him and his team for that. It was as stress free as possible.
