The Golden Swan Chinese Restaurant is an authentic Chinese restaurant full of locals which is always a good sign. Great food only for the ones who really know where to find them. Amazing prices and portions for its quality. The service was prompt and friendly.

An East Vancouver local popular Chinese restaurant for dim sum and Chinese food. Parking lot is relatively small for about 10 cars or so. There are street parking available but must pay attention to parking bylaws as some side street parking is only for residents. Overall dim sum is pretty good and usually busy during lunch and brunch hours. Evening dinner is not as busy but food quality is still good. Inside the restaurant, the patrons have elbow room and the tables aren’t as close to each other as compared to another nearby Chinese restaurant.
Busy, but not as busy as before. Only had to wait a few minutes for table. Plus a few spots available in their free parking lot. Residential street parking available as well. Dishes are large and the still do dim sum carts so good for tourists or locals on a budget. Service was brisk and efficient. Would come again with others who invite me to come.
I have been a Richmond residence and certainly there are many well known dim sum restaurants in the city centre. However, we find it is very difficult to good value and really great dim sum. Surprisingly, this uptown Golden Swan Restaurant still provides you more old fashioned value and variety if you are hungry for some dim sum.However, I don't mean cheap for we want to try as much as we can and take out the left over which Northern Chinese don't do. The only caveat I have you is parking is a bit challenging sometimes.
I am surprised that no one mentioned how well packed their take outs are. We ordered take out and ate at the newly renovated park across the street. It was a pleasant experience. It was good enough for our dim sum craving!! It was yummy.
