Horrible experience with FCT - they almost killed our deal! Despite receiving documents 20 days prior to our closing deadline, a few days before closing we were told that they didn't have all the documents and we can't close - not exactly professional!! FCT did not have everything ready and we literally ended up closing minutes prior to our penalty increasing and only because I understand they hand delivered a cheque to discharge the existing mortgage... the most stressful mortgage transaction ever.

Due to their delay in processing our new mortgage document, we ended up paying over 4,000 in penalty to our current mortgage provider! This happened to us even when they had over 2 weeks to process our document. Worst experience ever! Don’t forget to ask your new mortgage provider if they use FCT.
