Slopes a bit but decent grass
Being the closest accessible track to downtown Vancouver, it's a popular choice. It is an asphalt 400 meter track and can form puddles from recent rain showers. A rubberized track is preferable for training. There are garbage cans around the south side of the track near the bleachers. There is a grass field in the middle for rugby. There is street parking along W 33rd Ave next to the track.
Great Grass, Luscious Green Color, surrounded by a residential background this park also has the essence of a small town stadium with it's old rickety wooden bleachers. The only downside is the vast majority of potholes that haven't been fixed for a long time coming. It's not busy often and there are nice vibes when you see joggers and other people doing athletic stuff. Yes, Health is Wealth.
Well maintained track, but not rubberized, and no lights for winter training in the evening.
