My husband and I stumbled upon this gem several months ago. We were immediately drawn to the exquisite scents of rare oils that are so carefully cultivated and often preserved for up to 100 years! Filled with authentic, Indian artifacts, sacred ceremonial tobacco, white sage, incense and eucalyptus leaves. Once you enter this store, it's like a fortress. You never want to leave. We had the pleasure of meeting with Scott who was extremely kind and incredibly knowledgeable of all the items in the store and took his time with us when explaining the benefits of the various scents and the process of how each oil was preserved. We would visit this store everyday if we could and has quickly become one of our most cherished spots in all of Vancouver.

It's not just antiques!!! I stumbled on this little gem a couple of years ago. It's one of my favorite stores and each visit somehow is even better than the last. If you're in the Kits area (or not) it is more than worth it to pop into Durga Interiors **especially** if you enjoy a good old fashioned sensory experience. If he's not already working with another customer, ask Ray to take you on a discovery journey so that you can find (or create) your signature scent to wear around town or diffuse in your home. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Make sure you've got atleast an hour on the parking meter though. Trust me on this! Tell him Chris sent you.

Ray is a wizard. Very knowledgeable, genuinely passionate, and modest. The oils will take you on a journey. They may seem expensive, but so worth it.
