Before I explain why I gave a one star, I want to say that Dr. Ronald Werb is one of the best specialists I have ever had. He is kind, knowledgeable, and willing to listen. The reason why I gave a 1 star was because of the receptionist. She is so mean. She doesn't listen, is not unkind, and is NOT willing to listen. She's the opposite of Dr. Werb. Since we live by Coquitlam, there was heavy traffic because the receptionist gave us the time during rush hour. Add on unexpected situations on the road, and we're late. She phones us and yells at us through the speakers. The parking is horrible too. We had to circle so many times just to find out there is no place to park. By the time we burst through the doors out of breath, she doesn't waste a second. We could only look down at our feet when she screamed that we were horrible patients and threatened that we were NOT allowed to come to this clinic anymore. We were so furious we DIDN'T WANT TO to back. But we could only grit our teeth and forgive her. We weren't here for the service. We can for the doctor's help. Another time I needed Dr. Werb's email to inquire about my medication list. The receptionist picked up the phone and told me to basically bug off and ask my own doctor. I never got to ask about my medicine to this day. Because of that, have been misdiagnosed by my neurologist, and as a result, am going to physiotherapy just because the receptionist wouldn't let me ask Dr. Werb about my medicine. I just want to let others know so that they will be better prepared.
