Dr. Amiri has done excellent work maintaining my dental health since taking over Dr. Matheson’s practice. Most recently, he replaced five of my front teeth with ceramic crowns, as my own teeth had worn down, and were constantly chipping or losing fillings. I’m very pleased with the results. Not only can I eat without fear of dislodging yet another filling, but also my new teeth look like they’ve always been there. Dr. Amiri took great care to be sure that both the fit and the appearance of my teeth were perfect.

The superb quality of Dr. Amiri's work is what I most recommend him for, and the fact that he explains what he is going to do before he does it. He is patient and thorough in answering my questions, checking that I've understood and inviting any follow up questions I may have. The staff is welcoming and kind, and solicitous of my comfort. The view across False Creek to the North Shore mountains is relaxing, which is a really nice thing to be able to say about a trip to the dentist!

I had the extremely good fortune to be referred to Dr. Amiri by my family dentist. She knew my treatment was going to be complex and that Dr. Amiri was the best person to handle it. As soon as I met Dr. Amiri it became very clear that he cares deeply about the wellbeing of his patients and that he is a very dedicated professional. He was reassuring and kind through every step of my treatment. My treatment included multiple extractions, crowns, restorations, an immediate upper denture, and a lower partial denture. Because of my bone structure I was concerned that the upper denture may cause my mouth to protrude. However, what Dr. Amiri does is an art form as well as a science, so he took everything about my bone structure into account before he devised his plan. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. No one can tell I have a denture because it looks so natural. I’ve had so many compliments on my smile. My hygienist of 25 years says she can spot a denture a mile away. But, in my case she couldn’t tell…not even up close. From start to finish Dr. Amiri has exceeded my expectations. My thanks to all of Dr. Amiri’s staff and especially to Myra for always making me feel at home. Many, many thanks to you Dr. Amiri for your expertise, your kindness and concern during my treatment. I will always be grateful to you for the amazing work you did restoring not only my smile, but my health. I highly recommend Dr. Amiri for any of your dental work. He will do everything possible to make sure that you are completely happy with the outcome. That is his main goal…

I should have done this a long time ago, but better late than never! Was originally referred to Dr Amiri by my dentist back in January this year. The original assessment was totally up front in terms of what was needed and what it would cost - somewhere in the region of 12,000, I seem to remember. Scot or not, I agreed to swallow that, and I'm glad that I did. I was provided with a detailed treatment plan and 'bill of goods' breaking down the estimated cost. There were 6/7 visits over the next six months or so to have what was left of my upper deck removed to facilitate a full denture there. I also had some work done on the lower deck to make way for a partial there. The upper denture fits like a glove, almost too well, as removing it takes a bit of toeing and froing. I did have a little discomfort with the lower denture but, when brought to Dr Amiri’s attention was quickly solved with a little magic paste to indicate where the pressure point was. I've since been back twice for check-ups - at no additional cost, and am booked to go back again in December. I joked with him during the last visit that the upper denture was probably downloaded from Amazon, whereas the lower is very much a work of art partially, I believe, cobbled together in his on-site 'workshop'. Has to be seen to be believed, although maybe not to the pros. In addition to the good doctor's professionalism and sense of humour with regard to my quips and leg-pulling, I also found his assistants and receptionist absolutely delightful in how they treated this old curmudgeon, assisting me lovingly to 'the chair'. I've been singing Dr Amiri's praises since and will continue to do so, as I continue to admire my full deck, top and bottom, in the bathroom mirror. You couldn't be in better hands when it comes to a pro prosthodontist. An old Scot who believes in getting value for his bawbees.
