I called to get info on an F4 visa and the process of giving up my Korean nationality and the employee was very helpful and talked to me for around 20 minutes. We also discussed the issue of covid and why Canada removed the waiver for Korean nationals when Korea is 10 times safer than Canada when it comes to covid. It makes no sense considering the US didn't and they are a covid nightmare.

Had to get my degree notarized. The lady with long hair was very nice and pleasant to deal with. She provided me with all the information i needed to know to get my degree and transcripts done properly. Great service! Process was easy, and forms were easy to fill out. Thank you for your help! Pro tip: Check the website before you go.

I try to be honest and fair with these reviews. I had a hard time between 2 and 3. I have visited there twice to pick up my wife's passport. The first time, the very kind security officer let me up to the office (different protocols around Covid). Once I got up, I was told to go back downstairs as they would send someone down to get me. I went back down, waited and nothing. Eventually the same security guard let me upstairs. I had forgotten my ID so completely my fault as to why I could not pick up her passport. I just went again for the second time. I called in ahead this time, and was told to wait downstairs. I then watched about 4 people walk past me, whom I had all overheard saying they were going to the consulate. They were let up right away, and I patiently waited for someone to come down. Eventually, I found the security guard and I went up. When I got there, I was no behind all 4 people (when I was actually the first one waiting). I have a very busy role at my work, and this cost me quite a bit of valuable time. Terrible communication on their end. Once I got there, they looked at my ID, collected paper work and gave me the passport. They were quiet, but got the job done. Overall, NOT a great experience.

Tried to call all week to ask 2 very simple questions and was put on hold for an hour everytime and then the call would disconnect. Highly unprofessional

Lack of information and visa officer attitude was absolutely rude and no manner. In addition, consulte website has two different complicated application forms. (Visa application) English site has lack of information about people who want to go visit in Korea. They should have exact format as Korean site. People who cant read korean, you should ask someone who can read them. Otherwise, you go there for nothing. Very unpleasant time
