One of the cleanest and most well organized archives I have ever seen. Very friendly archivists who are knowledgeable and able to answer questions. They are doing a great service maintaining the history of our beautiful city.

The staff is very welcoming, helpful, and informative. They answered all our questions and provided all the materials we needed. The archive is very clean and bright, it was nice to work and look outside through the big windows. The tables are wide and comfortable. What they are doing is fascinating, and is very important for the community and researchers.

Such a pleasant experience! We were welcomed by a friendly researcher (I forget her name) and led to a small display with olden timey pictures and a slide show of old Vancouver. Very interesting slice of life pictures and a few funny ones! The researcher explained to us that we would be able to use the databases of knowledge if we had something in particular we were looking for. Excellent place for historical research! She also offered to show us old mug shots of people from the early Vancouver days. Absolutely worth 30 mins of your time!
