I used Scott's service for my repairs. Would like to shed some light on this opaque industry for those looking for a suitable muffler repair center. Costs breakdown: Performance muffler 223 remove & replace 179.25 exhaust pipe 14.80 exhaust hanger 8.95. inspection 39.90 Total with taxes: 618.07 Technical expertise: 9/10; looks like decent repair works done Communication: 3/10; was looking forward to a honest repairs done based on previous reviews. Scott looked busy that day; possibly as a result, he wasn't the most patient with me. Granted I was a car novice and didn't know what a muffler was until mine broke. Definitely personable but not the most patient and perhaps not suitable for those who likes to ask questions. Quoted me the costs and claimed it includes taxes. In the end, costs quoted did not include taxes. Footed the bill eventually but that was an unpleasant surprise. Don't think the misinformation was intentional though (maybe he was busy? He did look flustered) Works were delayed by half a day too but I guess that's beyond him as the parts delivery was delayed. More communication on estimated repair time would have been good. Value: can't comment; did not shop around Overall: looks like good work done. Communication definitely could improve. May not be the best for a car novice who asks many questions.

I only spoke to this shop on the phone however my daughter had to have her back brakes done as they were kaput completely! The chap I spoke with was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful. Overall the job was done just fine but so very expensive for a twenty year old car, oh well, it has to run properly!!! Thanks guys!
My partner and I brought our pre-owned RV in for a thorough tuneup and mechanical repairs before a long road trip to Whitehorse, Yukon... It was a big job and I was anxious for the costs due to our inexperience and lack of knowledge about RVs. Plus we were stressed to get the work done in time for our trip. Scott and the technicians who worked on it did a superb job! They quoted the work and honored it even when the job ended up to be a fair bit bigger than quoted. We are so happy and grateful for the work they did for us and we even drove away on the day we wanted to even after it took a bit longer to finish the work. The folks at Budget get our best recommendation. I thought they were very fair, thorough and had the expertise to do the job right. Thanks for a great job and to help us have a safe journey!!!
I always do my research when It comes to where I’ll take my car. Budget brake on 2nd is the place to go. Scott is the owner and one of the mechanic is the most trustworthy person I have ever met. Thank you for fixing my car man!
