They jacked up fees to pay for their fancy new office they had to build right downtown Vancouver - the most expensive real estate there is! Why not build somewhere more cost efficient? The sad thing is this office is sitting mostly empty right now as a lot of the employees are working from home. Great!! Glad I’m paying almost 600 a year for nothing

Obviously in bed with the government and health employers. They stay silent when it comes to safe patient nurse ratios. They have a significant role to play for patient safety. Clearly the college does not care how many patients a nurse can be responsible for. A nurse in an acute care hospital can be responsible for 20 sick patients all by themselves and the college doesn’t care.

They should make up their minds on what to call them. Your credibility as a college for all NURSES seems to diminish. Your registration fees are way overboard and helping nurses aren't visible. Please remove board of directors and monopoly in this organization. You can sum all this review up and find one common denominator-(describe or tell us what it is)

Outrageous fees aside, every person I communicated with from BCCNM, except for the assessor, seem to not care at all about us - you know - the people paying the outrageous fees. It took 2 months for me to get reinstated, and it didn't matter to whoever I spoke with on the phone, whomever I emailed, whomever heard my voicemail - no one gave me a WAY to expedite the process of my reinstatement. The only reason I figured out that it was possible to speak with an assessor was because a peer went through the exact same thing, and she advised to directly speak with the assessor to get things DONE. The assessor was the only person who seemed to understand the importance of my reinstatement. Otherwise, everyone else was extremely UNHELPFUL.

Bloated, bureaucratic and self-serving. Exorbitant fees to pay for the plush, waterfront office space
