A great place to eat good bagels and take a drink. My favorite combo honey wheat bagel with Nutella a vanilla milk shake. The sofa with the fire place is perfect. Good price, great location, and staff very nice. On the picture, the bacon breakfast bagel. I recommend to try with the focaccia, a good combo.

Nice, cozy cafe for a relaxing day and night. The milkshake was very good and their bagels were so yummilicious! Free wifi provided too!
Heard this place is closing soon, quite a shame because they have amazing bagel based sandwiches. I highly recommend the club or roasted chicken. Choose any of a dozen or so bagel styles and flavors. Fun side note, this place is licensed and serves draft beer. Not a bad little lunch spot for a first date.
Great ambient temperature and atmosphere. Love the pizza bagels and the soup here! The milkshakes are a bit heavy but its also really good. Free wifi so its a great place for gathering with friends. Busy on schooldays so I would suggest the weekends. Highly Recommended.
Was a nice (and usually quiet) place to get some work done. Bagels were good too. One of my favourite cafes here. Sad to see it close down.
FRESHEST BAGELS: I have been visiting Benny’s since the mid-90’s. I miss their long-past pre-hipster Yaletown location, with its metal backed chairs and pool tables. Reminds me of today’s Portland Pearl District. The Kitsilano location is made up of older hippies, UBC students, a few foreign tourists, and very sweetie Montreal transplants behind the counter. The bagels, and sandwiches are always amazing. Always. One star off only because ever other order is somehow oddly and endearingly wrong. Every other time. It’s charming in an inoffensive way. The ambiance, furniture and building hasn’t changed in decades, which has the feeling of comfort, times hasn’t changed Benny’s. ORDER: The Scallion cream cheese, delicious. Enjoy!
All of the table & chairs are slightly different and interesting. Staff is super friendly and their bagels are amazing. Music is quiet enough to talk or sit quietly and drink a good cup of coffee or milkshake!
