A stunning restaurant, which instantly reminds you of a fine restaurant in the middle of Paris. So cozy, warm & welcoming. Our waiter Tim and his team were friendly & just wonderful as well as on top of things the whole night, however never pushy. We chose their 3 course menu with wine pairings as well as some truffle fries to start with. The food was hot, delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. I highly recommend this for a special occasion or a date night!

Used to be a great place that my friend liked to go. But it doesn’t quite keep the standard and meet the expectations as a fine restaurant claiming to offer European style delicious cuisine and genuine hospitality. My Linguini with prawns & clams was like the chef dropped the salt shaker into the pot. Poor flavor and unhealthy with too much salt. My friend’s dish was mediocre too. The waiter was nothing close to European at all. He was just rushing to clear the table. I gave 3 stars for the live piano playing, drinks to our taste and convenient location. If you expect decent European cuisine and dining experience, this place may disappoint you, except the European price
Absolutely delicious food! Came here for the first time with my friend for dine out Vancouver. Beautiful interior, covid rules were implemented and we felt very safe, food and wine pairing was on point. My only complaint was that they had run out of fois gras, which was the number one thing we were both looking forward to.
Ambience is great. Takes you back to a romantic and warm time with with dark wood and low lights. My major complaint is the pianists who play old pop tunes that no one listens to. What happened to good jazz and romantic classical music? Has the crowd lost their love for good music?
It was my first time in Bacchus but for sure it's not gonna be the last time. I loved the steak and slow roast lamb. It was one of the best steak and lamb I've ever had in Vancouver. Taste of the steak and the creamy spinach on the side was very unique. I'm very excited to go again to test the other foods.
