Any property management company will have its ups and downs with tenants, but throughout my 3 year experience with Urchin, they have always attempted to correct any down to the best of their ability. I appreciate dealing with them, and luckily do not have to do it too much as things run smoothly nearly all the time. One thing that isn't clear to anyone just renting from them, is what they do for the neighborhood. They are a big part of improving downtown Dartmouth, and I am fortunate enough to live here in an up and coming time, and now realize they are a big part of that.

Totally a waste of time. I would suggest not even applying here unless you have connections in the management. We applied for a one bedroom apartment with this company and it took them more than two weeks to get back to us just to say the application has been declined. They never called our employer or our references and declined us for no clear reason. We pay twice the rent of that apartment at our current place and never had any kind of an issue with payments. Such a waste of time!!! Never even looking towards this company again.

Really terrible staff. Didn’t called any of our references and never got back to us. We had to call every 3 days to ask about application status. They deserve 0 star.

I found this company to be extremely helpful! When I first moved to the HRM I needed to find an apartment quickly due to my work contract. Staff spent an entire afternoon showing various apartments to me and my wife. We finally found a spot with a wicked harbour view! Thanks!
