First I have to say that saying good bye to a great friend and companion of 16 years is and was very hard. And will be for quite awhile. Our little Gabby will be missed forever. Finding Edward at Metro Pet Crematory was a good thing for me and my wife. He helped us with the whole process and helped us to fell that Gabby would be treated with the respect and dignity that she deserved. Edward was very kind and compassionate to both my wife and I and at this very hard time for us, he made it a little better for us to deal with this. My partner has had 3 pets tragically pass in the last year, and Metro Pet Crematory was far and above the most understanding and accommodating of the cremation services we've used. He responded to us quickly in our time of need, picked up our pet within an hour of the phone call, and had his urn delivered back to us in person the same week. He even was lovely enough to show us several options in person, bringing each one out to our car in order to accommodate social distancing. Despite all of this, their prices were very competitive with other crematoriums that offered far slower turnaround. He was able to accomodate all of our custom requests for urns and memorials. My partner was absolutely inconsolable with the fact that her beloved pet would go with a competitor that had taken over a month in the past and returned another animal in an unmarked cardboard box, and she was relieved and comfortable when Metro Pet Crematory agreed to help us instead. If your HRM vet clinic does not offer a partnership with Metro Pet Crematory, please remember that you do have a choice and can arrange private pickup and cremation through them directly. You have options. Metro Pet Crematory should be your first one.
