Busy access point due to the cottages and day use on the lake. Otherwise it's a great place to kick off a back country trip. Lots of parking and close to the Canoe Lake permit office and the Portage Store

Smoke lake is such a special lake .Its a quick access into Ragged Lake or Claude lake .had the privilege to see 12 loons all together ! There's no camping on Smoke but enjoy the short paddle , great for a day trip !

Very nice spot to launch your Canoe trip. Bathrooms close by as well.
