These amazing people saved my life, I know I've heard many negative things about our medical staff here but I will listen no longer. If at any time you are in extremely direct straits they will go above and beyond to make sure you are well enough to leave before you go. No one likes having to go to the hospital, but that doesn't justify the ridicule and nefarious minded statements about these awesome and amazing people. Type 1 diabetes, found at 30 from sugar toxicity, they are the best, they are heroes. Thank you so very much UHNBC staff everyone!

If you can't afford a flag in decent condition - remove it, and finally (oct ) they have replaced it with a nice new flag!

These people work long hours, understaffed, yet still care as best as they can. Not every doctor is a pleasant one, and people can't control who they work with. The people I've gotten to know over the last year and half from my ultrasound to eventually surgery to ins and outs on pediatrics- from nurses and doctors, to cleaning, to social workers, etc sure make me happy I live in Canada.

Not clean. Did not enforce proper COVID protocols despite the fact that there had been many outbreaks in the hospital. Did not even follow their own policies consistently. Level of incompetence is through the roof. Someone in the ER breached my confidentiality, as did one nurse and one social worker. The nurses also took deliveries of personal belongings from my family and lost them. Not just once, but twice. Staff do not liaise properly with each other, making care chaotic. I was constantly told different things.

I NEVER write reviews but the emergency wait times here are ridiculous. I would give 0 stars if I could. You're better off going to a walk-in clinic or your family doctor if you can help it. Even that is shorter. The staff need to get it together at this hospital. Embarrassing and disgraceful.

Stepson admitted because of covid, we could only call for updates. But Moira (sp?) helped in getting a video call, Ben (nurse), (Lindsey sp?) , all were great to speak with. Considering how short staffed they were, all were considerate on the phone. Not their fault some calls were short and sweet, or we had to call back. Only downfall was that we never got a call from social worker that were supposedly going to get a call from for update on next steps. He is now in Vancouver, long road to recovery. All staff in PG please stay safe, thank you for your hard work.

Nurse's that works on night shifts are loud laughing and jokes around in the hallway. Some of the student nurse are pushy and not understanding.

I was admitted Saturday evening after breaking my pelvis ring skiing. Every healthcare worker from admitting, to ER nurses, to ER doctors, to ward nurses (Mercedes and others names I don't remember) to Dr. Purnell, and finally the very knowledgeable physical therapist, Christina were amazing. All very thoughtful, caring, and kind.
