Perfectly situated on Bayfield Street north. Gathering last minute home essentials or looking for outdoor shrubbery. United Home Hardware is a great place for home or cottage essentials. Friendly service and friendly atmosphere.

Purchased lumber here twice this week and both times all the staff were very friendly and willing to help. The guys at the back loaded up my vehicle with everything and were super nice and made sure every piece of wood was straight and good quality. Id much rather shop at this store than Lowe’s/Rona/Home Depot. It’s nice to not have to go all the way to the busy parts of town if you need something quickly. Thanks for the great service

UPDATE!!!! Exemplary Customer Service. I want to thank Lea Anne the branch manager of Barrie North Home Hardware for promptly reaching out to me to try resolve this issue. She really took responsibility and was able to communicate well and I really felt listened to and my point of view was acknowledged. Thanks again:) Today, I WOULD recommend. Original Post: I really wanted to support locally! Almost 10 a piece bought 12 patio slabs 24x24 at 3 pm got home literally 3 blocks away on a brand new paved Bayfield Street, had 9 broken. Poor customer service , basically told me too bad, they were loaded fine, no credit would be given. I dropped them back there a little over an hour later because I didn’t want to be stuck paying for disposal. At least they took them back! Would NOT recommend.
