It is an OK place if resident is more or less able to get around on his own and feed himself. If he needs to rely heavily on caregivers, he will have a tough time. The place started to segregate residents into sections by ethnicity in 2018. That put some residents on edge, perhaps feeling outnumbered. There was a male resident who repeatedly said out loud \ I don't like Chinese people\. I heard another complaining to her daughter she wants her table changed because she wanted to sit with white residents. The atmosphere was stifling. This was before covid. They may have done this with good intentions but were terribly misguided.

Excellent caregivers here. My Mom's been here for 12 yrs.now and her same caregivers have been looking after her for 10 of those years. Even the ones who knew her from the beginning still come and see her and us and remember us all by name. We're always kept up to date on any changes to her health. The food quality is excellent and appetizing. Overall excellent facility-highly recommend it.
