Undercurrents is a vibrant looking store with a lively staff. I'm always greeted with a smile when I walk through the doors and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable. They were accommodating with my dog and they even had treats!! I'd recommend undercurrents to anyone looking for a reason to get on the water and a positive shopping experience.

We were gifted with two instructors, a newbie and a veteran. Both were very attentive and offered one on one attention to everyone in our small class. Location for the class was ideal and they made it fun while skill building. Also appreciated that they went over safety and gear options plus allowed all to try a variety of boards.
Great course. The instructor did a great job in explaining everything in details in a fun - filled way. Recommended if you are starting kayaking.
I've always had a great experience picking up gear at their shop. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. I took a couple kayak courses from them and enjoyed them greatly. Good work!
I love the inventory! wearing my stylish Icebreaker wool top and very comfy wool sports bra (no cotton!)as well as the stellar looking and incredibly comfortable bamboo head band I found, all at Undercurrents . They have great products for all your paddling needs and you can be comfortable and stylish too with all the best gear for all your paddling adventures. The Staff are great, very helpful and kind, nothing but good vibes. this place is a hub of the paddling community and it's fun to bump into faces you may have seen on the river. The courses they run are fantasic with incredible instructors. Just completed a SUP the river course with them last week - and we loved it. Learned lots, had some fun and are definitely feeling more prepared to head out on our own now to get some more practice in. I would highly recommend!
I took a FUNdamental kayak lesson the other day. Our instructor (i can't remember his name!!) But he was awesome. I learned a lot from his instructions and demonstrations of different paddle strokes. I took the class because I needed to get out of my comfort zone. My couch. I recently lost my husband and I need to get out and do stuff. I am glad I chose the Undercurrents lesson. I will try and get on the water at least one more time before it gets too cold. Thanks Undercurrents and big thanks to our instructor that evening. I recommend anyone wanting to try kayaking to take your lessons with Undercurrents. Oh and they provide the skirt, jacket, booties, and of course the kayak and paddle. Right on!!
I took a standup paddling course through undercurrents on Aug 20, 2017 and was very impressed with the program and instructor (Graham). the course was very reasonably priced and the gear provided for use was great quality. I haven't been to the store yet but will be heading there to pick up some additional equipment.
