We decided to make an impromptu stop at UBC Botanical Gardens on a cloudy day. The basic entrance fee was around 10 and the garden was definitely worth the fee. No crowds, just peaceful and tranquil green space with beautiful plants and trees. It took us around 2 hours to walk around the whole garden, excluding the tree walk. There is also a souvenir shop and a cute, small coffee shack with snacks.

Visited the main garden and the greenheart tree walk This was money well spent. Walking above ground up in the trees via suspension walks from tree to tree. Very unique way to see the trees and the flora beneath. Wish I had had more time to see the other portions of the gardens Next time!!!!
Quiet garden away from the city. No crowds either. Parking is free for three hours. The Greenheart TreeWalk is worth experiencing!
I called the UBC Botanical Garden today hoping that someone there could advise me regarding a problem with my cherry tree (Immature fruit dropping off). The person I spoke to was extremely helpful, unfortunately I neglected to ask her name. Nevertheless, thank you. Larry
