We had a wonderful experience at this location after a terrible one with Uhaul in general. The owner was extremely helpful and friendly and we were so appreciative!
DO NOT RENT from this location! Extremely unprofessional. When a friend of mine picked up the truck for me, no one asked for ID or proof of rental. Before my friend got to the vehicle, someone did run out to get his ID but did not check the vehicle over as they are supposed to. My friend got into the 20ft truck and saw it was on empty (he didn't take a picture for proof, our mistake), the wipers did not work properly, and there was no washer fluid in the vehicle (It was a very wet an snowy day). We were told to return the truck as we got it; we were then charged 127.64 for the vehicle being on empty. This location has been contacted and refuses to admit the truck was empty. They then charged us an additional 215.83 after being told the cost would be 144.00. I am being denied reimbursement for the fuel and extra charges for my trip (which they aren't explaining). So, my total cost for driving 60km is 343.47. We have used U-Haul many times because we move every six months for work, and we have NEVER experienced anything like this. We will choose independent truck rentals from now on. Please, save yourself the grief and get a truck somewhere else. This company cares more about money than their customer's experience. Additionally, this location is unorganized, lacks customer service skills, and takes unjustified amounts of money from their hard-working customers.
