I had taken my Ford Fusion in to have new tires installed and an alignment done. Less than three months my back tires were completely bald with the belt showing. Went back in and the service manager couldn't figure out how it happened. They checked the alignment said it was good and made me pay for road hazard to replace the tires. Within another month the back tires were bald again. They weren't going to do anything again. Went to another tire dealer in Truro and the alignment was out by miles. The other tire store fixed it and a day later Hollis reluctantly refunded my money for the tires. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT BY THE DEPARTMENT MANANGER.
My dream car has always been a Ford Mustang Convertible. The salesman was friendly, knowledgeable and went over and above to finding specific features on the one I was interested in. Pricing with bonus offers and financing makes it appealing. I found my experience shopping for a vehicle was definitely 2 thumbs up!
Our old Ford van was really showing its age and becoming unreliable so we initially went to hatheway ford in amherst yesterday where we recieved discustingly poor service when searching for options for our new family member the sales guy was great initialy but when it came to finance we felt pressured to make an instantanious decision to either buy now or not at all we knew what we wanted and we were more than welcome to take it from them but were not even allowed the weekend to make a decision and verify our insurance costs for the new vehicle My Friend Rob Maclellan has been a sales consultant at Hollis for 3 years now so i called and asked him to check on a few things for me and was told the truth about what was and what was not possible when buying a car Rob maclellan gave us the facts told us to take as long as we needed and he would be there when we were ready today we walked in the door of Hollis with our van on its last breath we were greeted like true family even before i saw rob maclellan i had a sunny smile shone at me by the lovely lady at the desk we met with rob and went over our new truck capabilities and then to the finance guy and let me tell you i felt at home every step of the way the staff of hollis ford took me and my wife and child into their arms as if we always belonged there rob explained every single detail about our purchase and left me at the end with no questions to hatheway we were just dollar signs in the door to the team at Hollis we were part of the Ford family everyone we dealt with treated us like we just got back home from a long trip highly recomend Hollis Ford Truro and Rob Maclellan as your sales guy but anyone else there will also take the time to treat you right they mean what their slogan says WHY GO ANYWHERE ELSE??
Cost me 870.00 dollars to have my computer read and my y pipe lowered to check catalytic converter. This outfit has many people in the area stay away.
Horrible. No call backs or follow-up after inquiring about trading in our escape. ( by the way, if your ford vehicle has 140,000kms on it, it is considered wothless). I was 1/2hr late this morning for an appointment this morning. Travelled 1/2 hr to truro and had someone follow me to pick me up. Was told i had to reschedule for next week. I wont be back. If i could pick no stars for this review, i would.
The best service I ever had . Garnet sold me a vehicle and is the best car salesman I met. If I could give 10 star I would.
I had bought a new Ranger years ago and included the FULL service package and total warranty. Unfortunately I was plagued by the service department. They never missed a chance to attempt to rip me off and make me pay for services that I already had paid for. I talked to the service manager and dealt with them all professionally and I was completely treated like dirt!! They were so rude that someone that worked in a different department (not service) who listened to our conversation called me up and apologized for the service departments behavior. I had to call Ford Canada a few times and was contemplating legal action. I have never been compensated , I have never ever been treated so badly. I am still so upset at this buisness and this is years later! The owner called me and asked me to trade in and buy another truck when I explained my issues he only replied that the staff have all been replaced in that department. That doesn't compensate my losses.
